Sweet Gourmand

JUDITH LEIBER Emerald Limited Edition Eau de Parfum Spray, 2.5 fl. oz.– Not the most well-known of the Judith Leiber line, but Emerald, is one of the best. Dry and sweet with fruits such as raspberry sitting on top of a clean wood and suede blend.

An interesting break from the usual cloud-like warmth of so many winter scents, Emerald has a crisp, smooth, and dry aroma that is super nice. It’s a nice sweet fragrance, that isn’t too heavy nor complex, but has a great smell.

Best Summer Fragrance

JUDITH LEIBER Exotic Coral Eau de Parfum Spray, 2.5 fl. Oz.-Let’s get a more summery fragrance from Judith Leiber before we get into the cold weather perfumes below.

Exotic Coral is an island flower scent with heliotrope and tiare soaked in coconut with a touch of sea air. It’s sweet in the floral sense, with some coconut and lime to give it that bit of island edge.

It opens up with a bit of a beach drink vibe, with a lime, coconut, and rum vibe. Not really an aquatic, but you get the feeling of being near the water, but it turns mostly into a white floral.

JUDITH LEIBER Night Eau-de-Parfum Spray, 1.3 fl. oz.– Probably the most popular of the lot. Night is a warm and deeply rich fragrance, led by notes of patchouli and cinnamon. Jasmine starts to come through and becomes a main part of this scent.

The sultry amber glow of this perfume is built for the colder evenings of the year and is quite appealing. It transitions to be more of a floral fragrance, with a bit of a powder aroma. Not a huge sillage, but a nice balance overall.

JUDITH LEIBER Amethyst Eau de Parfum Spray, 2.5 fl.oz– A sweeter fruity perfume that also has that familiar amber note like Night, listed above. Litchi is the main start initially, sharing the stage with berries.

Blackberry and raspberry are joined by musk and floral notes such as magnolia to create a light, subtly charming fragrance, that is simple yet pretty. Amethyst is a winner. It doesn’t develop all that much, but feels muskier as it moves along.
