However, this brand does have a lineup of perfumes that enjoys quite a lot of popularity, and some quality titles among the offerings. In this post, I am going to present would could be considered the four best smelling scents by Judith Leiber, and give a description of each. What are the Best Judith Leiber Fragrances?

Sweet Gourmand

JUDITH LEIBER Emerald Limited Edition Eau de Parfum Spray, 2.5 fl. oz.– Not the most well-known of the Judith Leiber line, but Emerald, is one of the best. Dry and sweet with fruits such as raspberry sitting on top of a clean wood and suede blend.

An interesting break from the usual cloud-like warmth of so many winter scents, Emerald has a crisp, smooth, and dry aroma that is super nice. It’s a nice sweet fragrance, that isn’t too heavy nor complex, but has a great smell.

Best Summer Fragrance

JUDITH LEIBER Exotic Coral Eau de Parfum Spray, 2.5 fl. Oz.-Let’s get a more summery fragrance from Judith Leiber before we get into the cold weather perfumes below.

Exotic Coral is an island flower scent with heliotrope and tiare soaked in coconut with a touch of sea air. It’s sweet in the floral sense, with some coconut and lime to give it that bit of island edge.

It opens up with a bit of a beach drink vibe, with a lime, coconut, and rum vibe. Not really an aquatic, but you get the feeling of being near the water, but it turns mostly into a white floral.

Most Popular Leiber Fragrance

JUDITH LEIBER Night Eau-de-Parfum Spray, 1.3 fl. oz.– Probably the most popular of the lot. Night is a warm and deeply rich fragrance, led by notes of patchouli and cinnamon. Jasmine starts to come through and becomes a main part of this scent.

The sultry amber glow of this perfume is built for the colder evenings of the year and is quite appealing. It transitions to be more of a floral fragrance, with a bit of a powder aroma. Not a huge sillage, but a nice balance overall.

Fruity Musk

JUDITH LEIBER Amethyst Eau de Parfum Spray, 2.5 fl.oz– A sweeter fruity perfume that also has that familiar amber note like Night, listed above. Litchi is the main start initially, sharing the stage with berries.

Blackberry and raspberry are joined by musk and floral notes such as magnolia to create a light, subtly charming fragrance, that is simple yet pretty. Amethyst is a winner. It doesn’t develop all that much, but feels muskier as it moves along.

David Yurman is a company that is known for its boutique jewelry. However, it has also ventured into the world of women’s fragrances a bit of the past decade. While there aren’t a huge selection of scents in this line, when compared to some of the bigger brands; they still have managed to gain some popularity in the market. Summer Essence is a floral perfume without the overwhelming effect of some of the heavier bouquet scents and completely wearable during the warmer months.

Most Popular Fragrance

DAVID YURMAN by David Yurman EAU DE PARFUM SPRAY 1.7 OZ– The original David Yurman EDP is marked with a sharp black currant opening that is paired with juicy citrus and some faint water lily.

As it dries down, the fruity scent makes way for a rose and peony combo that smells very well done, and is complemented by patchouli.

The rose is more dominant and has a green sort of aroma to it. Good performance throughout.

Light Rose and Musk

David Yurman Delicate Essence Eau De toilette Spray for Women, 3.4 Ounce– Another rose based scent that is also flanked by peony and musk. However, the rose in Delicate Essence is more pronounced, and more of a red rose.

Plus, pink pepper and lotus, add to the composition. It’s light with a floral and musky clean dry down. Plus, a bright and upbeat personality.

Revlon is well known for its various makeup lines and has been trusted for years for that purpose. During the same time frame, it has been in the fragrance market, also. A lot of their perfumes no longer exist, such as the Debbie Gibson, late 80s teeny scent: Electric Youth. However, we are today going to focus on 5 perfumes from Revlon that are both available, and among their absolute best. Now, the great thing about Revlon, is how utterly inexpensive their fragrances are with options in the $7-15 range, as of writing. So, let’s get into it.

Warm and Fresh Floral

Revlon Fire & Ice Perfume for Women, 1.7 Fl. Oz., womens fragrance– Fire & Ice as the name suggests, plays warm notes off of cool ones, to create a captivating and pleasant experience.

It utilizes orange and orange blossom for the cool aspect and then a warm amber and smoky incense to provide the heat.

All of this is joined by other floral notes, such as orchid. It’s comforting and bright and a nice bargain.

Leather and Woods

Ciara by Revlon Perfume for Women, 2.3 Fl. Oz., 100% strength concentrated spray– An intense raspberry opens up the fragrance, which will then dry down into a warm, woody fragrance with bits of sweet and powdery elements.

Leather, rosewood, cedar, ylang-ylang, and vanilla round out the composition and create a very enjoyable, almost unisex scent. For an inexpensive fragrance, this is one that performs extremely well, both in terms of projection and longevity.

Sweet Fruit with a Kick

Charlie Gold by Revlon for Women – 3.4 Ounce EFS Spray- Charlie Gold is a fruity fragrance with spicy warmth. The fruit notes are made up of peach and plum, which gives it a bit of a different feel from many other fruity scents out there.

Add to that a nice cinnamon note and a slightly salty caramel, which only add to the depth of the perfume.

Then, the warmth and smoothness get cranked up by sandalwood and amber. It’s an enveloping warmth with sweetness and a powdered finish.

Jean Nate by Revlon After Bath Splash 30 oz for Women– Jean Nate has been around for many many decades, and naturally, is going to be reformulated and not exactly resemble the original batch from like the 1930s or so.

However, it’s a super clean and somewhat soapy fragrance with lemon and fresh lavender and some spice. It’s simple and nice choice to smell nice when one doesn’t need to stand out.

Best Floral Revlon

Charlie Red by Revlon for Women – 3.4 Ounce EFS Spray– Charlie Red starts off with a blend of some fruity notes and floral ones, before it moves into a huge bouquet fragrance with musk undertones and some sandalwood.

It’s mostly carnation and tuberose that are detectable in this one and it will be detectable because the sillage is quite strong. Still, a nice option for those looking for a cheapie floral.

Jessica McClintock has been a popular name in certain fashion niches for decades. During this time period, the designer has released some fragrances, and some of those have enjoyed a good amount of best seller status. Jessica Mcclintock By Jessica Mcclintock For Women. Eau De Parfum Spray 3.4 Oz.– The originator and the most popular of the line of Jessica McClintock fragrances. It’s been around for decades now and is a mostly floral blend with fruit notes such as lemon.

Lily, rose, and jasmine are the triumvirate of floral notes which power this classic womanly perfume. It is a light bouquet of those floral notes with a bit of citrus to prevent it from turning too ‘green’.

Super Floral

Jessica McClintock No. 3 Eau de Parfum Spray for Women, 3.4 Ounce– Another floral that is highlighted by a lily note, but this one is a pure floral and there isn’t any fruit to balance it out. Mostly, the lily and magnolia will peak through and some light greenish undertones.

Obviously, this should only be worn by those who enjoy a nice flower-laden fragrance and McClintock No. 3 also feature notes of  rose, lilac, and magnolia. Like walking in a springtime garden. Sweet, smooth, and fresh.

Fruity Violet

Jessica Mc Clintock Dancing Eau de Parfum Spray, 3.4 Ounce– A very clean and light fragrance with notes of juicy green apple and violet petals. It’s got a sugar citrus sweetness provided by the lemon, bergamot, and black currant notes but it all sits on top of a floral bed.

Gardenia and jasmine flank the fruit combination and provide something that is purely feminine. The floral accord comes across as fairly powdery at times, yet, with a bright and somewhat tart opening act.

The apple is the main fruit note, but the citrus and black currant are very present initially. That opening is almost all fruit aromas.

Led by Lily

JESS BY JESSICA McCLINTOCK 3.4 EDP SPRAY– Another floral but with a woody base and a bit of a different mixture from the usual flower fare.  This one is highlighted by hyacinth, which has a rather unique place, in a world where so many perfumes are headlined by the usual rose and lily notes.

It’s a light floral that is beautiful and none too complex, but one that is green and refreshing on a spring day. Update: This has now been replaced by Modern Jess. Though, you can find bottles of each, and they pretty much overlap in terms of smell.
